Would like to be able to plot number of shares of fund/security over time. Easy way to do it?

Lengthy way by exporting to Excel works… Is there an easier way?

I don't know of an easy way to do that. Quicken's reports focus on the value and performance of your holdings, not the number of shares. Would the report have to handle splits, spin-offs, etc?
Out of curiosity, how would you find that plot interesting or useful?
