Newbie Question about Budgets (Premiere)

Hi all. Didn't see a newbie question thread anywhere, so just will post my question here. On my Planning/Budgets page, how do I change the spending from all year (Jan-December 2024) to just monthly. I've spent $300 this month, but the big spending line at top says I've spent $3,700 dollars and over budget by $2,800. Watched the videos, Googled for answers, still very confusing. Thanks for any and all help.

You're likely in "Annual View". Go to Graph View and you should have a selector to determine what amount of budget you want to see.

Also, if you can post some snips of what your seeing, that will help.

Sounds like you have "Include reminders" and they "predict" that you will spend more than you have budgeted. Also, this top line on the Annual view is for the year and can't be changed. That is the reason for @rodney23 's suggestion to switch to the Graph View where that bar will be for the time period selected.

To turn off including reminders in the "actuals", select Budget Actions → View options and deselect "Include reminders".

Personally, I sort of ignore the top graph on the Annual view, instead I look at the total line for any given month, and for the year.

Thanks for everyone's help. Changing to "Graph View" did help. The budgeting is still confusing - put in $300 for "rent," but the graph says I've spent "$0." Fortunately, I found some videos on YouTube that I think will help. Thanks again for the help!
