Budget Report Not Matching Planning Budget

I am using Quicken Classic Premier Version R53.32. When I updated my budget for 2024, I noticed my budget report for 2024 budget income total did not match the income total in the planning budget. I use a custom budget report and had reused the one from 2023. I checked all the settings from 2023 and saved the report and it was still wrong. I ran the file validator a few times and it fixed a few things but the report was still wrong. Any ideas?

One thought…in the planning budget are you showing reminders? If so, try turning them off (Budget Actions > View Options) to see if the report matches.

    No. Good suggestion, though.

What is off? The budget numbers or the actuals, or both?

The actuals are off. Only the Total Income Actuals are off. Everything else is ok.

If you add up the actuals that doesn't agree with the Total that Quicken came up with?

No. The total of the Income for Actuals is higher that it should be.

Most likely it is including an uncategorized or not budgeted transaction in the report. Check your settings
