can i convert my quicken cashbook 2004 files into a newer platform

I have been using quicken personal plus cashbook 2004 for many years, but today it just stopped working. I have uninstalled and reinstalled to no avail. Can i import my backup file into a newer version of quicken. I don't mind buying the new one, but the old one was just fine untill it just stopped working. I have 20 years of financial records that I cannot access at the moment.

Any help out there?

Isn't Quicken Personal Plus Cashbook 2004 an application for Australia?

If so, then you might want to make your inquiry at https://community.reckon.com/reckon . Quicken exited the Australian market nearly 20 yrs ago and sold that Quicken Australia software and business to Reckon. Quicken has no product nor support for any country outside of the US and Canada and the current Quicken products are not compatible with Reckon.
