Roll back to Scaling

I just read the closed discussion about Scaling printouts from 2020.

Welp, it's January 2024 and that tool is STILL disabled. Many of us are familiar with it from Excel and so many other tools. MOST of today's printer drivers can handle it. so what's the problem? I have a report for my CPA rotated to landscape and STILL, the entire value column of a 5 page report is cut off so now it is 10 pages. With today's technology, that just doesn't have to be and OH YES, I am trying to print to PDF.

Come on Aquiline Capital, you can do better. Or certainly you can afford to hire quality engineers to fix this once and for all.

    Hi Jim,

Yes US version, on a MS Surface running Windows 11, Quicken Business & Personal vR54.9 Build 27.1.54.9.

You aren't going to believe me but since I closed it from when I was working on earlier to just now, it is now enabled. So now I'm the #$$.

Along with that, the selection dialogs have a new interface which all say we cam "go back to old interface". I only had to do that with one window, selecting Categories for a report. Reason; the new interface does not include the green and red Inc and Exp reference as you scroll through. I rely really heavily on that color coding. I've run reports with crazy outputs in the past not realizing I had selected the wrong version of a Category.

I know I shouldn't change topics in the middle of a thread, but has anyone else noticed that? It wasn't these new dialogs and pickers this morning. Maybe I just keep it open too much and should refresh & update more often.

    Thanks,

    -Monica

Page scaling should be enabled if you select the Quicken PDF printer as your output device. Does that not come up in your list of printers?

What version of Quicken are you running, US or Canada, and what operating system? I have heard that the PDF driver is not installed with the Canada version of Quicken, and also probably not if you are doing Windows emulation on a Mac.

I mentioned the lack of green and red Inc and Exp in the new interface during a conversation with the Product Manager. Maybe they will add those back in.
