3 year and 10 month old Transaction added

Options

This morning, after our update, something that took several minutes to complete by the way, a cleared transaction was added to an already reconciled one in our register. As explained in the title, this was from 13 November 2021.

The time it took to download on OneStep Update was very concerning as well. Not certain if any other users have experienced this the last couple days, but this does follow an update that was made yesterday.

Thank you for your time and attention.

The long OSU might have been due to the download pulling down the almost 4 years of transactions and the single transaction was the only one that Quicken did not recognize as a duplicate.

You could look at the download log file to see if there were a lot of other "old" transactions downloaded but were ignored as dups.

    Splasher,

Thank you! 4 years? Huh. Aside from the confusion of why, makes sense given the really looong download time today. Is this some glitch with the new update we received yesterday. Hope it's not something that will become recurring. Was a real pain in the **** figuring that big of a discrepancy considering we download and reconcile every banking day.

Without investigating what was in the download, it is impossible to say what caused it. My comment is only a possibility of what could have happened.

A program upgrade in Quicken being the cause is unlikely since there would have been a whole lot more complaining.
