Manual entries disappear after entries [saved in register]

I had no problems until after 21 Jan 2024. all my manual entries that I enter after that date disappear after I finished entering them and the balance goes back to 21 Jan. I backup the file after entry and then close and restart the program. Now when it opens it is current and then the program deletes all my entries after the 21 Jan date while I watch. I have tried exporting the file and then open a new file and import but it still does the same thing. I am using R5.9 and yes I have validated and repaired the data file. Also even though the entries disappear when I go to enter the transactions again - it remembers the payee and the amount. HELP

Check the sort order. If you aren't sorted by the Date the transactions will appear to be deleted because they will be at a different place in the register once they are entered.

If @Chris_QPW suggestion doesn't resolve the issue, I'd verify that the sync to Mobile and Web is disabled.

@pvilledon as @RalphC mentioned it could be that you have the "Sync" option turned on. I had this same thing happen to me and then I switched the Sync to OFF and the issue went away.

If the data is really deleted, then only things I can suggest first what @QuickUserPSP said, if on turn off Sync to Mobile/Web, try and Validate & Repair.
