Download for specific time frame not transfer to Quicken

Hi: I've download my January 2023 through June 2023 entries from my bank. I can see the download but it will not automatically transfer into my Quicken register. Oddly, I was able to download everything after that so it doesn't appear to be a problem that I can figure out.

Any guidance? It's just those dates. I have everything from June through today. Thanks.

How did you do that download? From within Q, or did you originate it at the bank website?

If the latter, did you do a FILE, FILE Import, Web Connect?

Also, could the download (or parts) have been withheld by Q because those items were already in your file … I.E. they duplicated other items?

    edited February 11

I would check the QFX file to see if the transactions are actually in there. I have had financial institutions that will allow you to pick a date in the past and then silently only give you the transactions for a period that is less.

EDIT you can edit a QFX file with a text editor. The syntax might be a bit hard to read, but if you know of a transaction that you are missing searching for it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.

@NotACPA I downloaded from my bank. The same process I've always used. Nothing different. Typically, I just click on the downloaded file and it auto enters into quicken. That's what happened when I downloaded the month of January today. So, I tried downloading the older entries again today from 2023 and tried the file, file import process and nothing happens. At least I don't see it in in the register.

@pamjr8 Try saving the file to your desktop, and then using the process I described above.
