How do I display the Payee column in a transaction report.

In 2021, ablau asked the question above and was quickly told to select either the Payee or Description column from the pick list.

In May of 2022, ablau reported that the columns were not listed. (I'm guessing ablau thanked the responder before trying out the answer.)

Neither Payee nor Description are in the pick list today, 2024/2/14.

How do we get this info into the report?

ps: Win11 Pro, Q Classic Deluxe r54.16, 27.1.54.16; new interface.

Thinking perhaps this was a 'new interface' issue, I clicked the link to go back to the old interface — NO columns were listed in the pick list. Restarting Q, the list was still blank.

Switching the new interface on through preferences, the list had columns listed — but neither Payee nor Description, so … "How do we get this info into the report?"

    Assuming this is the report at Reports > Banking > Transaction, click on the gear at the top right of the report to customize it.

    On the Display tab, below Show Columns, Description should be one of the choices. If not, click on Reset columns below the list and see if that fixes the problem.

    Please let us know what happens.
