Uninstalled but still seem to have a lot of Quicken files on my computer?

We have been having many issues with quicken hanging up, just getting a white screen when trying to open it, suddenly shutting down, etc. So I did an uninstall. It seems that there are still a lot of Quicken files in a folder on my expansion drive. The case might be that Quicken was installed on both my C drive at one time and then also on my expansion drive (if that is possible??). I am not a computer expert and could have certainly screwed it up. How do I get the Quicken files off my expansion drive? I am not referring to the QDF data or Backup files. I am referring to files in a folder titled Quicken with names such as: alert.dll, dbghelp.dll, deluxe2008 icon file, etc etc. Can I just delete this whole folder before I reinstall?

Yes, you can. Beside the files it puts in C:\Program Files (x86)\Quicken (C: will be the disk that you installed on), it also stores configuration files in the following folders. C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Quicken, and C:\ProgramData\Quicken.

Just noticed deluxe2008, what version of Quicken are you talking about? The above folders are for Quicken Subscription, for Quicken 2017 and below they would be the ones I have listed on this web page:

Thank you Chris_QPW. We are Quicken subscription users now, but have been using Quicken for a very loooooong time way before it became subscription. So who knows what old files are lurking out there on our computer.
