- my numbers change every time I exit the program. Why isn't it backed up to resume the next time I sign in?
- I want to upgrade to possibly Quicken Classic Deluxe. I would like to add a second file to run as a separate entity. Is that available on this version?

What numbers are changing?
In either version, you can create multiple independent data files by going to File > New Quicken file. Generally you should keep all for your accounts in one file and have a different file for each taxpayer - parents for example.
