how to add shares to a watchlist security

Created a watchlist but can't figure out how to add hypothetical transactions to it.

If you don't actually own the shares but want to track their performance, create an offline investing account and Add the shares as of the hypothetical purchase date.

To include dividends and other distributions in the performance, you must record them manually.

To avoid having the money in this account being included in your Net Worth, click on the gear at the top right of the account and select Edit Account details. On the Display Options tab, select Keep this account separate.
