Separating CASH transactions

I encourage Quicken Classic Mac to add the long time Quicken Windows feature, "Show cash in a checking account", to Quicken Mac. I have seen several threads here dated a few years back.
My new investment account provider, Fidelity, includes the CASH transactions with the investment transactions. The cash is readily available for most every use of a regular checking account; eg,debit card, transfers, they even offer a bill-pay feature.
The instructions per the Fidelity site to setup the cash portion for "Quicken: In Quicken, "Select the investment account to which you'd like to add a linked checking account, then choose the Edit button. On the General Information tab on the Account Details window, choose Yes to "Show cash in a checking account." Quicken will prompt you to back up your data file."
But this is only available in Quicken Windows.
The Quicken support chat suggested I post something to the community.

@OrigQknDude There is a long-running Idea thread (feature request) for this functionality, and it was marked as "Planned" by the developers last year. This means they have agreed to build this feature, and they have allocated time for it on their development schedule. We never know the order of their work on planned features, nor when a particular feature will be released, but we at least know it is coming at some point in the future.
