Damaged data block - repaired! (Edit)
I have had a damaged data block on my Validation reports for years. I could never figure out what it was. Then in the last year my bills and income reminders were crashing. And there were multiple reminders that said fix it. There was no way to fix it or delete these reminders. I found this post on here "Quicken crashes when click on Bills & Income tab" OMG, I followed the steps, and the damaged data block is now gone. I was able to delete all my reminders and fix them. I had to set up payroll wizard again. When I would do an update it always wanted to look for matching transactions in my 401k account. I couldn't get it to not do that. So it took 10 minutes to update. Now it takes about a 1 minute or less. And I can quickly scroll through my 401k account that has 27 years of entries. It has been so helpful. There were also some errors in the 401k account and I was able to fix all of them too.

That's a pleasant surprise! We had always believed that damaged data blocks could not be repaired. Congratulations on repairing yours.
