Print Register Format

I would suggest that either a new report or the current print format on the file tab be modified to allow printing in same format as displayed on display screen…specifically print charges in separate column and credits in another column.

This is the same format used by most all banks and credit card companies. Also suggest allowing subtotals and grand totals with user specified dates. The 'amount" column seems to be wasted space as it equals the amount in the combined charge/credit column.

Note this is the report accessed by going to File > Print <account name> or hitting Ctrl-P while viewing a spending account register. Its format changes if you select 1 or 2-line display format, but it should honor the column selections when viewing the register.

You can remove the Amount column and leave the Payment & Deposit (or Charge & Payment) columns.

Sorry Jim, but doesn't work. Removed category column and it still is in the report, making the memo (what was purchased) unreadable. Also it doesn't fit in the columns and the printout leaves off the balance.
