In Quicken Mac you can select all the transactions in one account & drag them to the other account. I don't know if QWin has a more direct method.

Are you talking about 2 accounts in the same data file. Or did you set up a new separate data file? Are you on Windows or Mac?

I'm not sure of your description. Do you have two accounts in one Quicken data file or one account in two different Quicken data files?
Also, are you using Quicken for Windows or Quicken for Mac?

Categories are global. They go to all the accounts in the same data file. They aren't specific to one account. Like you can pay the utility bill from your checking account or from your credit card account and categorize them both to Utilities. Maybe explain more what happened and what you are trying to fix.

I compile a conservator report for someone and have a checking account for them which I have been using quicken on to show the courts the activity, balance, categories etc. I also have a debit account that I need to do the same thing with for the same person. I am not sure how to merge the two accounts since one was created a few years ago and one only just a year ago. I would like to merge the accounts and to do it manually would be very labor intensive so be4 I get doing that I thought I would reach out and ask someone in case there is a way to add the info of the debit card account to the checking. Neither one is connected to the web-I enter it all manually.
