How to re-open my Closed Discussion?

I would like my discussion titled "Incorrect Payee identified" to be re-opened.

I see 2 recent suggestions, which I appreciate, but neither correctly answers my query.

  • "Automatically apply Quicken's suggested name to payee" is NOT checked.
  • Searching downloaded transactions by both "Payee" and "Downloaded Payee" brings up only the 2 transactions in question in which Quicken changed the name of the Payee from "Foresthill Beacon" to "LL Bean". Could it be that the word "Beacon" confused Quicken?

    There are only two ways in Quicken where the payee's name is changed.

    One is the renaming rules, and the other is "Automatically apply Quicken's suggested name to payee" (which only applies if there isn't a matching renaming rule and if it is selected in the preferences).

    So, the best suggestion that can be made is to look for a renaming rule LL Bean and if there see what the rules are for it.
