Portfolio cash balance problem
I have a an investment account from Fidelity and Quicken has the correct Securities Value, but is also mirroring that amount as Cash Balance every time i download new data, so my portfolio is "doubled" even though the cash position is not true.
Once i realized what was happening, i manually reset the cash balance to zero every time and it works, but the cash balance history is wrong.
How do i correct it?

Are you using the cash in that account to BUY the shares that you hold? Or, are you simply depositing cash and using the "Add Shares" (or downloading new positions, a variation of "Add") feature, which would result in the doubling that you report.

it’s a 401k. I no longer buy any shares. I occasionally withdraw money. Anytime I download, the cash balance is set to the value of the account, doubling the value of the Quicken account over what it should be.
