UPDATED 5/2/24 Duck Duck Go Browser Extension Does Not Support Express Web Connect+ Authorization

When users are going through the authorization of accounts for Express Web Connect+ connection banks, the authorization will not go through if the you have Duck Duck Go as a browser extension. To ensure you can go through the authorization of the accounts and connect your Express Web Connect+ accounts, you must change the browser extension. This is how you can check to make sure you do not have the Duck Duck Go extension:

  1. Click on the three dots in the top right-hand corner of your browser window.
  2. Hover over the extensions tab.
  3. Choose the option that says manage extensions.
  4. Make sure the Duck Duck Go extension is not active, and if it is, you will need to remove it.
  5. Once you remove it, you should be able to go through the authorization of your accounts on the bank's website and connect them to Quicken.
