I cannot import OFX statements converted from PDFs (edit)

Quicken OFX data file

I cannot get any of the statements on my computer to go into quicken

I cannot find an answer, can someone please help?

    a little more details -

    where or how are you getting these files to Import ?
    do you mean OFX or the Quicken format QFX files downloaded from banks ?
    how are you trying to Import these files into Quicken ?
    what happens - error message ?

    And what do you mean by "OFX statements". An OFX file isn't a statement.

    It's not an easily read, by humans, document. Although with a bit of patience and examination, you can figure out what it contains.

    I purchased a program called proper convert because I had my statements in PDF. It will convert the pdfs into QBO/QFX/OFX/QIF, but I am choosing OFX because it was matching the Quicken number as a choice. If I go into quicken and choose to import then I look for the file with browse no files show up. Just blank. I do not care what type of file I pick it is blank. Nothing.

    Quicken uses QFX not OFX.

    @Machelle it sounds like you are trying to convert statements in PDF format to a data file format up loadable to Quicken. If so, the conversion uses a process called OCR which does not work on all PDF documents. And even if it worked, the results are never 100% accurate.

    Usually there are other better ways to import data into Quicken depending on what options your financial institution can provide for online connections or data file export to Quicken.

    If your financial institution does not provide online services or file export options to Quicken, then a 3rd party software can be used.

    That is why you need to provide the additional information that @Ps56k2 and @UKR are asking for, so they can better assess your situation to provide a solution.
