Downloaded entry disappears
Recently, after I update accounts, a red flag will appear indicating a transaction to my savings account with TD Bank. However, when I upload the entry to the register, the transaction disappears but the account online balance increases, while the Quicken balance does not.
I am not sure if this problem has surfaced since Quicken has included pending transactions, but it seems have occurred when this feature was activated.
I am using 2023 Quicken for Windows. Will upgrade to 2024 shortly.

Check the sorting or the filtering on the register.
Sorting:
Something has changed your register's sort order.
Clicking on a column header will sort by that column.
A little triangle will be shown in the column header indicating which way the column is sorted.
Clicking a second time (not a double click) will reverse the order. In your case, click on the Date column header.Filtering:
At the top of each register is a set of filters, click on Reset to change them all back to All.-splasher using Q continuously since 1996

Thanks for the response, but changing the sort order does not make the Online Balance agree with the Quicken Ending Balance.
Somehow, when I accept the transaction, the entry disappears in my register, but the account Online Balance increases accordingly.

Did you check the filters on the register at the top?
Have you checked with the FI's website that the Online Balance agrees with the website and that the Online Balance isn't including pending transactions?

The FI balance agrees with the Quicken "Online balance" but the Quicken Ending Balance is still incorrect.
I do suspect the pending transactions as being the source, but cannot get a handle on why a flagged download would disappear if it were pending and why the transaction would not post when finally posted at the FI.
With pending transactions active, how would one see that the transaction is pending in Quicken?

I don't allow pending transactions, so hopefully someone else will chime in.
If the register is showing both a "current" and an "ending" balance, it is because you have future dated transactions. Is that possible? If no future transactions, there will not be a "current" balance.
