Problem converting and opening Quicken 2013 files in Quicken 2017

I had Quicken 2013 on my PC and although I have bought Quicken Deluxe 2017 back in 2017, I only installed it tonight. Then I tried to open two Q13 files without success. For one file it seemed to go through the conversion process but then landed on a white screen without opening the file.

For the other file it didn't even seem to do the conversion and just went to the white screen.

Is there a workaround?

The registration servers for Quicken 2017 no longer exist, so your copy of 2017 isn't usable.

Stick with QW2013, it is the last version that does not require the sort of registration that is blocking the 2017 usage and it definitely is not subscription.
