PAYPAL MASTERCARD - BALANCE DOWNLOADS but TRANSACTIONS DON'T DOWNLOAD

After working with Quicken Support for over an hour and a half the following ticket was opened:

TICKET NUMBER 10980215

This was on April 11, 2024

I was told they would get back in touch with me.
It is now May 7, and I haven't heard back from Quicken Support.

The problem seemed resolved, but has now returned.

Once again Quicken will download the current balance, but no transactions from the PayPal Mastercard.

OK - It's back to working again this evening. I guess this is a intermittent issue?

For me this issue has been intermittent for about a year now - works fine for a month or so, and then stops for a week or two, and then fine again for awhile.

OR, it could have been a Paypal issue. Had it been a Q issue, this forum would have LIT UP with complaints.

Last I looked there are at least 5 threads on ongoing/intermittent issues with the PayPal credit card and have been for about a year or so. While it may not have LIT UP with complaints, there are certainly more issues that just this thread.

All Quicken will do is download the balance.

I even went to PayPal and downloaded the .qfx files. When I try to import them, Quicken recognizes the files and rewards me with a "0 transactions downloaded".

Mint was measurably better. At least it was a free product and when it glitched, I accepted it as a free product. Now, I am paying for failure.
