downloaded transactions register view

At the bottom, where I can accept downloaded transactions, I could have sworn I used to be able to see right there what category transactions were being assigned to. Now, I have to click on each transaction and look up top in the register one at a time. I can't figure out how to change that back.

This is what I currently get in Quicken for Windows 27.1.56.9 and I don't remember it ever being different.

-splasher using Q continuously since 1996
    - Subscription Quicken - Win11 and QW2013 - Win11

In the payee column, if there is a slash "/", the left side is the payee, and the right side is the memo. Otherwise, I don't remember ever seeing a category.

Thanks, I have my register up top up showing as 2-line, so if I make a purchase at Exxon, I can see on the 2nd line that it's being classified to "gasoline." I'm almost positive that a few weeks ago, the downloaded transactions also showed the category (gasoline). Now I have to click on Exxon in the downloaded transaction section and then have to look up top to make sure it says "gasoline" and then can "accept" it. It's not a huge deal, I just used to be able to "accept" the transaction quicker because I could see right away how it was being classified.

    Downloaded transactions don't have categories.
When, after downloading, a new transaction is associated with an Entry from the Memorized Payee List, the category from the MPL entry appears in the new transaction line in the register.

AFAIK, that's how it always has been. I have always reviewed the new transaction line, to ensure that everything was correct and to make changes as needed before clicking Accept.
In a recent change to Quicken, programmers appear to have made changes to how Transfer transactions are handled.

BTW, your MPL entries should be marked as "Lock this entry", to make it so that a prepared entry with correct category cannot accidentally be changed.

Ok, appreciate the response. I must be losing it! LOL! I don’t know why it was just looking different to me suddenly.
