How can I get a list of all transactions during a time period?

I don't care what the category, nor who the payee is, nor which account the transaction appears.

So I would like a list with date, category, payee, account, amount within the specified date range.

How about the All Transactions register filtered for your preferred date range. You can access the All Transactions register via the link at the top of the Account Bar.
