Turn off Download Quotes for inactive symbols like expired Options contracts (edit)

I'm not sure if Quicken already handles this internally, but it would be nice to be able to do a bulk selection to turn off all of the "Download Quotes" for symbols that are inactive. For instance - what about all of the Option contracts that have long expired.

Quicken only downloads quotes for securities:

    • with the box checked in the security list,
    • With a valid ticker, and
    • Either owned in an account or checked as a watch list item

So that third point does as you suggest. There is no need to mass uncheck the box.

Quicken does not download quotes for securities where your share balance is zero unless the security's Watch List box is checked in the Security List.

@chall3809 Do option quotes download for you? If so, what format do you use for the ticker symbols?

There have been complaints that option quotes do not work.
