Windows to Mac - now want Mac to Windows

I think the answer is no, but is there a way to convert my Quicken file from Mac to Windows? My Windows version of Quicken was unavailable for a couple of weeks, so I opened the file on my MacBook and worked on it for a week or two. Now, I want to work on my Quicken file on Windows again. Is it possible to sync through Quicken Cloud?

You might find this Support Article helpful. Scroll about 1/2-way down to the section titled "Convert from Quicken for Mac to Quicken for Windows".: https://www.quicken.com/support/converting-your-data-quicken-mac .

BTW, it is not possible to sync data created from one data file to another data file via the Quicken Cloud. Each Cloud Account is specific to the ID of the data file from which it was created and that cannot be changed or reassigned.

But also, the Cloud Account does not have the complete record of the data file on the computer from which it was created. So, even if one could do what you inquired about the sync would include only a subset of the data in that original data file.

Going from Windows to Mac, and from Mac to Windows usually is considered a one-time event, and can be messy.

How much did you do in the 2 weeks you used Mac? Maybe go back to Windows and start with the last Windows data file and reenter everything since then. Maybe you can download the transactions again. That's what I would do.

I'm staying on Quicken 2013 Premier for Windows.

if you just want to see what's happening with your Quicken financial data when the Windows computer is not avail -
you might consider - the Quicken Mobile App - or - Quicken on the Web -

Both require you to setup your desktop Quicken for SYNCing to the Quicken Cloud for specific accounts you want to later view -
