Unless you're doing a BACKUP to the cloud, the usual SYNC to the cloud only uploads a portion of your Q data, and thus isn't usable as a backup.

You DO have other backups, don't you?

    nope -
That's why Quicken has TWO types of BACKUPS - the Auto created, and Manually created -
As with any backup methodology - you need to properly set the Quicken Preference —> Backup -
and have the backups both locally avail on the C: drive - and also avail offline - in case the entire C: drive is trashed -

I am trying to find how to transfer data from quicken online and quicken mobile to quicken app on laptop.

Mobile and quicken online are saved to the quicken cloud but I cannot save and upload to the laptop app? Is that correct?

    read all previous postings above

as mentioned - the Quicken Cloud is NOT A BACKUP solution -
merely a portal to a subset of your desktop data via the Mobile App or Quicken on the Web browser website.
