Downloading full year when I use different computers

Everytime I use a different computer to download transactions, Quicken downloads the whole year and I have a bunch of downloaded transactions.

Most of them are match, the new ones are at bottom.

What is going on?

It was not like this until a few months ago.

Are you moving your Q data file between these computers?

There's a "Financial Institution Transaction ID" attached to each transaction that allows Q to identify what's been previously downloaded …. so if you're downloading into a "fresh" file, it won't know about prior downloads.

Also, is this happening for all Financial Institutions, or only some? What's your download method (Direct Connect, Express Web Connect, Web Connect) for each of these?

and what do you mean by …. downloading to different computers ?

Quicken stores all your downloaded, entered, and edited data in a QDF file, located on your computer -
If the file is not there - ….. ?

you can always take a copy of the QDF file if you are away - like this Q&A -

My file is in oneDrive, just accessing using diff computers (I use 3)

did not have problems until a couple months ago, direct connect or webconnect depending on institution (not my choice)

oh, from the link, copy file from one drive to your computer and run quicken from there, do not run quicken using the file in one drive.

so far the do not run Q from a file in onedrive seem to have solved the issue, Thanks for the tip!

it is a pain to transfer file to computer to run Q, but if onedrive interferes with Q…

Well both softwares are made to not lose data when computer crashes and are constantly saving the file, so guess that is the conflict…

thanks, all, case can be closed!
