I’m having same problem as everyone else..hurry up Quicken

    What problem is that? Details, please. (BTW, I have a Cap One credit card account and am not having any issues downloading transactions. So, the information you provide…type of account(s), error code(s) or message(s), how long have you been experiencing the issue, the version of Quicken you are running….can be very helpful to others who might be able to provide you with some assistance.)

    BTW, this Community forum primarily consists of users like you and me. There are some Administrators and Moderators who also offer some assistance and help in working with Quicken but they are not Tech Support.

    I have 3 Capital One credit card accounts. I don't have any of their bank accounts. They have all downloaded every day with no problems. FYI.

    Quicken Classic version R56.9.

    Ive clicked FixIt then Reset account. A window pops up to Add account and connect to bank to authorize. I Sign in to Capital One on browser. Capital One shows I’m already sharing my 3 accounts

    When returning to Quicken, I get this


    I already have these accounts in my quicken and with same nicknames. How do I get Quicken to Update these accounts with transactions?

    I restored an earlier file and I think I fixed my major problem however, I ACCIDENTALLY LINKED the wrong Capital One account to a Quicken account. HOW DO I CHANGE IT(link it) to the correct account?

    First, it is suggested that you do the following:

    1. For each of your Cap One accounts (actually, it is a good idea to do this for each of your banking and credit card accounts, not just Cap One): Enter and save the Opening Balance transaction dollar amount into the Memo field of that transaction. (Sometimes, when making changes to the connection method the Opening Balance transaction dollar amount will get changed. By entering and saving the correct amount into the Memo field it makes it very easy to determine when that has happened and then fix it.)
    2. Back up your data file.

    Second, see the Support Article regarding this error code and follow the step-by-step instructions shown there: https://www.quicken.com/support/message-when-using-online-services-cc-506/ . Since you have one account that is linked to the wrong account, you should start directly with the "Deactivate all accounts…" step and skip the steps preceding that.

    If this does not resolve the issue, you might need to log into your online Cap One account, go to Security and remove the authorization for Quicken to access and download your account data.

    Then try to add your Cap One accounts, again.

    Also, very important: During the accounts setup process you will be prompted to decide what to do with the downloaded data. Make sure that each account download is Linked to the correct existing account that is set up in Quicken. And if you see anything in the information provided in that prompt that is incorrect (such as Nickname, Type, Action) that you first try to correct the wrong information before you accept the downloaded data into Quicken. If there is more than one thing for an account that is incorrect, correcting one thing will often (not always) correct the other things for that account.

    I ended up restoring quicken file and added/reactivated update with Capital One. My Mastercard account won’t update. Quicken Cloud is all messed up but not really important now.

    I have 3 accounts (checking, savings, credit card) under one Capital One sign in and my spouse’s MasterCard under another Capital One sign in. The error below happened after I selected “fix it”.

    I’ve never had these problems in the past. Used to consider myself computer savvy but feeling quite inept right now. Going to follow the Quicken support steps for CC-800 again and hope for best but not confident. Chase account has had NO issues
