USAA transaction downloads - it still won't download correctly. (edit)

Are you having issues with cleared transactions being downloaded? I've started over like four times and it still won't download correctly. I'm scared. These accounts get screwed up just because I use the update function. I don't know what to do. Please tell me I'm not the only one.

I haven't checked recently, but my understanding is that you have 60 days from your most recent purchase date to request a refund. After 60 days I believe that you are out of luck.

We need more info in order to assist you.

What issues are you having? Error messages or error codes? Failure to download? What Financial Institutions is this happening with? What download method for each (Direct Connect, Express Web Connect (+), Web Connect)?

And, sorry, but I'm not having any problems downloading from 7 FIs on a 6-day a week basis using both DC and EWC+.

    Hi @shoutjoy

Please give us some additional detailed information on what is happening and what you are seeing so that we can understand your problem. It sounds like you may be new to Quicken, and we will help you, but need more data.

I don't know what your definition of "cleared transactions" might be, but in general - when using Quicken it will download your financial institutions' "cleared transactions" (that is any transactions that have cleared, or been processed, by the bank or other financial institution). Unless you have done something like deactivating downloads to a particular account and then reactivating the downloading process in Quicken, you should not receive any transactions that have not been downloaded previously.

But please give us more information so that we can help you - including the name or names of the financial institutions (is it all or just some of your accounts?) and anything else that seems to cause this to happen.

I have the Classic Deluxe. I am treating it like a checkbook register. My bank is USAA. I use the update function. I also project my bills out to the next payday. Unfortunately, Quicken doesn't always recognize those and will try to create a new transaction download which would create a duplicate. I try to catch them but I guess I'm missing some. It won't pick up account money transfers either. It doesn't always download cleared transactions. I'm really at a loss as to what is going on. I've started over about four times in the last six months creating a new file. I've used Quicken for so long, I'm afraid to try something else but when the bank balance is $151, for example, and Quicken shows a balance of $400 after the update, concerns me. Oh, forget about the account reconciliation function, that totally screws up the accounts. I don't know what else to try. Other financial software programs are geared towards business owners.

Well, looks like I'm going to have to start over again until I can find a financial software option that works. Can I get a refund if I decide to go with something else?
