How to establish a new Direct Connect connection to Fidelity Investments?
For many years, I have had several Fidelity Investments brokerage accounts connected via Direct Connect, all using Complete investing. Downloading transactions has worked fine.
I opened a new brokerage account with Fidelity Investments. When I try to set up online access, the only option presented is connecting via Intuit, which I assume it EWC+.
How do I connect this new account as Direct Connect like all my other ones?
If that is no longer possible, if I connect it via Intuit, does that support Complete investing?
If it does, will connecting this new account via Intuit affect, in any way, my existing accounts that use Direct Connect?

The dialogs are misleading (wrong).
If you click past this dialog:
You will get this one:
This isn't Express Web Connect +, because Express Web Connect + doesn't use your username and password.

That's strange. Fidelity Investments only supports Direct Connect. Can you show us a screen shot of what you're seeing?

There are 2 Financial Institution names for Fidelity, "Fidelity Investments" (which supports Direct Connect only) and
Fidelity - Investments & Retirement Accounts (which supports Express Web Connect only).Which are you using and for what type of account(s)?

I was hesitant to click past the Intuit screen since that implied I would be sharing data with them. After seeing your screenshot, I clicked through and the new account was connected via Direct Connect just fine.
Quicken should fix this setup flow to bypass the Intuit screen if the FI supports Direct Connect.
