Why does Quicken "one step update" make changes to sent online-payments?

Many times (over several years), when updating (one-step-update), Quicken will make notify me that there was a change to a previously sent online payment. I can never see what was changed… amount, date, name, etc., all appear to be correct (the way the payment was originally sent). I have never experienced any issue with the payments, but I am concerned as to what Quicken changed?

Thanks for any assistance!

Tom

It means that the bank has done something with the scheduled bill payment.

    • It was processed (sent to the payee)
    • Or the bank has received notice that it was transacted (by the payee) and is now a pending payment
    • Or the payment has posted at your bank. Once it is posted by your bank it will be downloaded into Quicken as a posted (cleared) transaction.
