Where might they have come from and how do I delete them?

Are they funds that you previously owned?

If so, in the Portfolio view, have you tried clicking on the Options button? Is "Show Closed Lots" checked?

    MotACPA,

Thanks for the response. If they were owned it was years ago and in a file that I used for to track my parent's investments. I opened portfolio screen w/ show lots checked. the Vanguard funds are not listed. Any idea on how to delete the funds. Their value are not showing up in totals even if I "unhide" them.

Perhaps I didn't make myself clear, or you misunderstood. When "Show Closed Lots" is checked, securities that you previously owned (but don't currently own) will be shown. If it's UNchecked, they shouldn't be shown.

And any security that has transactions can't be deleted while it has those txn recorded. BUT, via the Security List (CTRL-Y) they can be hidden from most places. Can you do a Security Transaction report for these securities?

SO, exactly what are you seeing, and where? Pictures (JPG or PNG formats, please) would be helpful.
