EWC-DC non-issue (except for the annoying message)
For several months I've been getting the EWC-DC mismatch error on the user ID used for two accounts at the Delta Community Credit Union even though
- The access method for the two accounts is Direct Connect and has been for years.
- Even though I receive that message, all transactions are downloaded.
- There is another user ID for two other accounts at the credit union (Direct Connect) yet there's no message displayed for that ID.
I've read other posts that provide a "fix" for this issue but I'd like to know how this isn't a Quicken issue to be resolved? I suppose I should apply the "fix" in the hope that the annoying message disappears? There are no other accounts at this credit union.

Well, I had looked before at hidden accounts and didn't see any for Delta that were still in use but I did find two that still had their EWC connection active even though the accounts had been closed several years ago. I deactivated those and the message no longer appears. Definite user error. 🙄
Thanks for suggesting what I should have done initially.

It IS a Q issue … but it's not one that can be fixed by Q. ONLY you can fix it, since it's pertinent to YOUR data file and not the software.
Have you confirmed that you don't have any hidden accounts at DCCU that aren't Direct Connect … because I've never heard of this message being sent in error.
