R57.16 (a.k.a. build 27.1.57.16) patch applied but Quicken Win does not seem to know
It's 2024-06-25 and Quicken for Windows is STILL telling me to apply patch R57.16 (a.k.a. build 21.1.57.16) even though I have already downloaded and applied that patch over a week ago.
When I click Help -> About, it confirms that I ALREADY have version R57.16 (a.k.a. build 21.1.57.16) installed.
When I click Help -> Check for Updates, Quicken accuses me of having only version R57.12 and that I need to update to R57.16.
Dear Quicken: Please fix your broken update process so that it no longer nags me to install a patch that is already installed.

It's the same for me….and I never had R57.12 installed. I updated to R57.16 from R55.26 via the Manual Patch and I still got the same message you got. I also saw a post by another person saying the same thing.
I've seen this same type of thing happen a couple of times in the past. Eventually someone at Quicken will "flip a switch" to remove the residual R57.12 message and then the issue will go away.
If your Help > About Quicken shows that you have R57.16 installed then you can rest assured that is what you have installed, not R57.12. As long as it is working for you, you do not need to do anything.
If it really does bug you can try doing what I did: Update Quicken from within the program (via Help > Check for Updates), not via the Manual Patch. I just did that and the R57.12 hiccup went away.
Or, you could report it as a problem to Quicken via Help > Report a Problem or contact Quicken Support via Chat or Phone (
). Posting your request to Quicken in this forum is not likely to get the attention of the Quicken employees who can resolve this since this forum is a users forum, not Quicken Support.Quicken Classic Premier (US) Subscription: R59.10 on Windows 11
