How to bulk delete split with $0.00 amt and [unspecified accounts] category

Validate/Repair found ~700 splits with $0.00 amt and [unspecified accounts] as category. This was probably due to unnecessary split entries to an account I've since closed/renamed/deleted etc…

How can I clean up these entries, without losing my sanity (e.g no manual process)?

    [Unspecified Account] is the direct result of deleting an account that is part of a transfer. This one reason, it is recommended never to delete accounts.

    It is impossible to delete the split lines in an automatic way. You could do a find and replace on the [Unspecified Account] to a different category, but you can't actually delete the split line.
