My customized home screen now only works if I use 8 pt. font. Prior to this update I could use large font. (see) attached screen grabs

I suspect it's the width of the Home tab portion of the Quicken window that makes a difference on how the Home view's individual views are rendered.

Try making the Account sidebar a little wider or try making the entire Quicken window wider or narrower and see how that affects the Home view.

This kind of behavior has been there basically from the beginning. A LONG time ago I actually volunteered to give feedback on Quicken and went to the Intuit building and one of the things I mentioned is having more control over the size of these "widgets". As you can guess that never happened.

But you say "it just started happening to me, this has to be new". No, what happened is either your setup slightly changed or maybe even they slightly changed any aspect of Quicken.

As @UKR suggested just a bit of changing of the size of the account bar will cause it to change how it dynamically sizes/positions these "widgets". Some widgets are more sensitive to this than others.
