Renameing Rules

in the last update a change was made to the renaming rules, The first line in a download for example might be Preauthorized Credit or PREAUTHORIZED. The second line will indicate the vendor such as T-Mobile. There will be multiple possibilities of PREAUTHORIZED in downloads for multiple vendors.

After the renameing change, the second line is no longer looked at. So the renaming rules will only work for one.

Is there a work around or a fix in the works for this issue

Multiple lines? The downloaded transaction information doesn't have multiple lines. There is the payee and there is the memo. Neither of which allow for multiple lines as far as I know. It sounds more like you are looking at this information at the financial institution instead of what is downloaded to Quicken. This would show up in the Downloaded Payee and Downloaded Memo columns that you can turn on.

Or maybe you mean the Payee and Memo which are on different lines when the register is in 2-line mode?

If you want Quicken's renaming rules to look at the memo as well as the payee you need to select "if payee contains" (if Quicken Name is, is the default):
