Sometimes the 2nd section "Online Services" appears (see below) sometimes not. When it appears, how do I remove it.

I don't know why you sometimes see that 2nd section and you sometimes do not. For me, I always see it but I also am set up for some online services so I would expect to see it.

As far as I know, there is no way to remove that 2nd section. The best you can do is to keep that box(es) unchecked for any online service(s) that are listed there. That will keep Quicken from updating those listed online services.

If you want Quicken to always remember to keep that box unchecked, after unchecking it be sure to click on the "Apply" button.

Thanks! I asked the same question about a year ago & got the same answer. Then the "Online services" went away (???). So I forgot I'd even asked the question. I just now checked… the update starts after I put in the vault password and the the "online services" does NOT appear. It seems limited to the "Settings" page. Your advice about hitting the "apply" button did the trick. Thanks!!!!

When going through the One Step Update Settings page, I would expect to see all available option settings, even the ones that are deselected.
What if you changed your mind and wanted to re-enable one of those disabled settings and the selection did not show?

The way I understood it: The boxes to select which optional online services to include during OSU are visible in the OSU Settings but when the box is unchecked as I'd suggested then the optional online services do not show up in the OSU dialog or OSU Summary.

If I am misunderstanding this then I hope @Phillyacct will correct me on this.

No, you both are correct. I was confusing the "update" screen with the "settings" screen. From the settings screen, if you hit the "none" AND the "Apply" button, the update screen won't show online service update. If not, not. Thanks again. I hope next year I won't have forgotten!
