Watchlists or Portfolio: allow charting two or more securities in the same chart
I don't know if this would be better as a feature added to the Watchlist or to the Portfolio graph, but there is a need to be able to specify two or more securities (including indexes) to chart against each other.
Examples include…
- comparing two or three securities you might be considering buying (or selling)
- comparing a security's performance over time compared to an index like the S&P 500 or Russell 2000 index or a bond index
- comparing the performance of all the holdings in one account, or multiple accounts

Multiple Account Comparison
I really like the idea of comparing the performance of multiple accounts in investing. I have a lot of accounts and since quicken has all the history, timelines, etc. it would be great to do comparisons.
Example: I have an individual self directed IRA account, and a managed IRA account. I'd love to be able to see how I'm doing in relation to the strategy employed by my broker over time, or within particular time periods. Another example might be comparing multiple managed accounts. In my case, I have a managed Roth and a managed IRA. The broker institutions has a spectrum of strategies. I may have one that is income oriented and one that is more aggressive. how have they compared, maybe add in the benchmark they use, like Russell 2000 or S&P 500, etc.
Multiple Equity Comparison within an Account
Being able to chart individual holdings or compare them would be also very useful. I've often tried to look at investments within certain accounts and comparing price performance between them is useful, as is comparing value performance (especially since some reinvest dividends and other have no dividend)

Would it be possible to add a 'right click' to the dashboard and portfolio views of a brokerage account to 'add security to watch list'?
I'd also like to see a couple of features added to watch list graphs:
1. comparison with indices or another security. (i.e S&P 500, Dow, Russell 2000) (i.e. Ford vs GM)
2. abilty to create moving averages for securities (i.e. 1, 3, 12 month moving averages)M1 MacBook Air 16GB RAM. MacOS 15.1.1, (Cable 300 Down 9 Up)

These are good ideas. One thing that is more different than I thought it would be is the variety of ways would like to analyze their investments, where they put their emphasis (snapshot vs performance analysis) and how they want to visualize the data.
The windows version is the closest thing to comprehensive, but I recognize much of the code is older and kludgy, and performance really suffers. Suggestions and votes are nice but not efficient. Ideally if someone could follow me around in Windows for a week they would understand what is important to me based on how I use it. On the other hand, I probably missed many helpful features out of ignorance. One thing I’d like to see is a demo file with fake portfolios and bank balances where it’s fully functional except for connecting to institutions. It would make a great learning tool and also a great demo for prospective customersQuicken Premier Mac Classic (since 2022), Quicken Premiere Windows (1995 - current, but not actively using since Mac conversion)
