how do I 'go to' the matching transaction for a transfer? (Q Mac)

I enter some transactions that are transfers to other accounts. I do this by entering the other account name in [. ] brackets in the category field

when I used to use Q on windows. I was able to right click a transaction and get the option to 'go to' the matching transaction . ie. Q would take me to the other register to see the matching transaction. but I don't see that option in MAC . does it exist?

If you display the transfer column, there will be a circular icon with an arrow on the right side of the column when the selected transaction is a transfer; click on that and it will open the other account in a separate window with that transfer selected.

There is currently no keyboard shortcut to go to the other side of a transfer transaction. (There used to be such a shortcut in the legacy Quicken 2007 for Mac, as well as the one in Quicken Windows.) There is an Idea thread — a feature request — for a keyboard command to jump to the other side of the transfer; you should add your vote for it:

thanks. wow.. what a poor implementation (if i may say so :) ….. why should i have to waste screen space displaying a Transfer column…. since the category column already shows the transfer with the [ ] brackets. i will add my vote to improve this.
