SWVXX and Dowloading
Yesterday my Schwab accounts balanced and today SWVXX disappeared from my accounts. After MUCH looking at forum discussions and trying MANY of the suggestions I finally found a work-around. I opened Security List and scrolled to bottom. There I found an entry that deleted the holding by a placeholder entry that came out of nowhere! I couldn't find it when I went to the account summary and it wasn't in the linked account. Additionally, I couldn't delete the entry in Security List.
My workaround: I changed the security in drop-down from SWVXX to a stock I have never owned and clicked done. That added the new security to my list but my SWVXX appeared and was correct. I then deleted the security. I wasted SO MUCH time and I hope this helps someone else.

I'm reading your post here but I can't quite figure out what you're telling us.
"Yesterday my Schwab accounts balanced and today SWVXX disappeared from my accounts. "
This suggests that you have SWVXX in more than one Schwab account, and that SWVXX disappeared from all of then. Is that correct?
"I opened Security List and scrolled to bottom. There I found an entry that deleted the holding by a placeholder entry that came out of nowhere!"
I associate a "placeholder entry" as something that shows up in a Transaction List" (Register) if the broker's number of shares doesn't agree to Quicken's number of shares. It's very much an "Account specific" entry in that different Accounts in Quicken can hold different amounts of the same security. If you're looking at the Security List and scrolling to the bottom of that list then the last item on that list should be a "security" of some sort, namely the last security in a list that's sorted alphabetically. It's as if you're describing some "security" that's a "negative security" (-SWVXX) that can go through your file and eliminate the SWVXX that might exist in any Account? I don't understand.
Is what you're actually describing here more along the lines of "I opened the Security List, clicked on the SWVXX entry, bringing up the Security Detail View, then scrolled down through the bottom of the Transaction history for SWVXX and saw a Placeholder entry?"
"Additionally, I couldn't delete the entry in Security List."
If my restatement above is correct, then you're saying you couldn't delete the Placeholder entry in the Transaction history section of the Security Detail View?
"My workaround: I changed the security in drop-down from SWVXX to a stock I have never owned and clicked done. That added the new security to my list but my SWVXX appeared and was correct. I then deleted the security. I wasted SO MUCH time and I hope this helps someone else."
I'm guessing this is some action you actually took in the Security Detail View?
