I, for one, am thankful this morning that Quicken assumably does not use Crowdstrike products.
And why would that be? I've never heard of "Crowdstrike" before …
You need to check the news this morning.
Wow! Hadn't been watching the news today …
Without knowing the details about this "failed update" I can't comment, but …

The Crowdstrike CEO said that the company is “actively working with customers impacted by a defect found in a single content update for Windows hosts,” and that that Mac and Linux hosts are not affected. “This is not a security incident or cyberattack. The issue has been identified, isolated and a fix has been deployed.”
And people complain vigorously about Quicken software update not being thoroughly tested! 🤣
The problem is Quicken may be using a service provider for quotes (Morningstar) that MAY be using Crowdstrike so IF that is the case Quicken can be impacted through an indirect relationship.
