Latest Quicken for macOS horribly slow

Hi.
I've just installed the latest Version 7.8.2 (Build 708.53926.100) on macOS 14.5 MacBook Pro M1 8GB RAM 512GB SSD.
When I open new transaction it takes dozens of seconds to open it and then another dozens of seconds to save it.
It was not like that before.

The same on macBook AIR M2 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD. However macMini M1 16GB RAM 256 SSD is faster, no wait to create/save new transaction.
Can they improve it for 8GB RAM?

Sometimes Quicken for Mac is slow because some windows are opened in the back of the main window

@Janusz I haven't seen any slowness with the latest release. My Mac has 16 GB of RAM versus your 8 GB — but I don't think that's the problem. I think @Gilles9 likely has the correct answer: you have one or more report windows open which are hidden by the main window. Pull down the Window menu, and if there is anything below "Sync Errors" on that menu, those are windows you have open in Quicken. Close them and you'll find performance jumps back to the snappy behavior you're used to.

If that indeed fixes your problem, then please visit this Idea thread (feature request) for a visual indicator that you have open window hidden by the main window, and add your vote to encourage thew developers to address this:
