I have unchecked all accounts and I have unchecked all days. I hit OK and it says"You have to pick one day". I want to stop doing scheduled updates all together. How do I do this

    Quicken Help states:

To end Schedule Updates, choose Tools menu > Schedule Updates. Clear the check box beside each account and select OK.

Reading between the lines, I suggest that you ONLY uncheck the boxes for the accounts, leaving the boxes on the right checked.

I can't test this since I don't want to mess up my file, but it can't hurt for you to try it.

Make sure the Online Services are also unchecked.

Yes.. that makes sense. I have to read Help more carefully. Thank you.

I unchecked all the boxes on the accounts and left the right hand boxes checked and clicked Ok. It responded "Scheduled updates are now active". I have no idea how that's going to work since there are no accounts to be backed up, but looks like it will try on Monday at 6am.

Does it still ask for your password vault password based on the settings applied on the screen? That might provide some indication if it is disabled.

If those options don't work, you can disable the bagent that runs the scheduled updates. To do this go into Task Manager and select Startup apps on the left. Scroll down to bagent, select the row and then choose disable.
