Portfolio Register——Year to Date Returns would always show all my closed positions until yesterday.

Now, YTD returns only show my current holdings. Closed positions are checked off, but still not showing anything

Return Year to Date———Yes in the Investing Portfolio View

Previously, when I clicked Closed Positions, it would list all closed positions for the year and show me the Total Returns Year to date

Now, when I click the closed positions, the securities don't show up and Return YTD does not change.

    This just started yesterday.

    Always worked flawlessly for years

Did you recently allow Quicken to install a new version? What version are you running now?

What is the "As of" date? What starting date have you set?

What Group by setting is selected?

A new Version was recently installed R57.26

Group Setting is by Security Type-However I just tried all other groups and same problem

I'm using YTD returns, but just tried 1,3, and 5 and same issue

Not sure what As of Date—starting date you are referring too

Update—-I spent an hour on the phone with Quicken support. The agent said there were issues with the latest release and had me install the June release. Unfortunately, that didn't help. He had me go to each individual account, holdings, and closed positions were shown. The problem just seems to be the portfolio register. He suggested that I may need to just check off all my hidden securities sold during the year. I tried a few and that worked. I've never had to check off hidden securities before the latest update.

Going to Costco for hearing aids—Won't be able to reply till much later today.

Update——-I had around 50-60 hidden securities. Originally they were checked off in my security view in the portfolio register. I was able to check closed positions if I wanted to see YTD returns or uncheck to just see my current holdings. Somehow, all my checked hidden securities disappeared. No clue how that happened, but I checked them all again and everything is working.

I have a question about support——They wanted to do a screen share. Do you see any problem with this. I'm always concerned with security and not sure if this could result in any problems down the road.

II have not heard of any security issues with screen sharing as long as you are certain that you are talking to official Quicken Support, not an impostor that might come up via a Google search.

I have LassPass, password manager, on my computer. I’m concerned that someone could get my stored passwords when doing a screen share.

    Hello @Gary R,

To answer your question: when you screen share with Quicken, using the screen share option built into the program (Help>Contact Support>Share Screen), the agent can see what is on your screen and can make a red dot appear to point at things on your screen, but does not have any ability to remotely control your computer. They cannot see anything that is not visible on your screen. You have the ability to end the screen share at any time; if you need to access sensitive information (such as passwords), end the screen share, then restart it when that sensitive information is out of sight again.

Please note that Quicken Support will not ask you to download any remote access software (such as AnyDesk). They will ask you to use the screen share option that's already in the program, or if that's not a viable option, they may ask you to initiate screen share through the Quicken website using Chrome browser.

    I hope this helps!

@Quicken Kristina Great response clearly expressed. If that is not already part of a FAQ or website page, it should be.
