Hi — I'm trying to add a transaction (Qucken missed it) and I got instructions for how to do it. But the Add TGransaction option doesn't work.

I have Quicken Classic for Windows. Thanks!

Did you type it into a blank row and enter all the info like Date, Payee(Description), Category and Amount? If you typed it on top of an existing transaction it just saved the first transaction again with the new payee. If you can’t find the saved transaction it may have saved it in a different spot. Make sure you are sorted by Date with the newest date at the bottom and the register is not filtered by anything. Click Reset Filters at the top.

Hi — a few days ago, one of you told me how to Add Transaction that didn't move from one account to another. Those instructions made sense — but the Add TGransaction button does nothing on my computer. Is there another way to reach it?

Can you point us to that prior link?

And, why can't you simply type the new txn into the blank line at the bottom of the register?
