Fidelity credit card statement ending balance sign error
When using "online services" to download transactions for the Fidelity credit card (Elan financial), the statement ending balance is showing up with a sign error relative to the cleared account balance. E.g., if the "Cleared Balance" is 1,234.56, the downloaded "Statement Ending Balance" is showing up as -1,234.56. This makes reconciling impossible. This appears to have started sometime between 6/13 and 6/17/2024. It looks like others may have seen this issue, but the threads immediately switch to talking about some error code that I don't see. The downloads work just fine with no errors, but the reconcile fails due to the sign problem.

If you go to the card's website, what's showing there? A positive number or a negative number?
Is it possible that you previously overpaid, and thus have a Credit Balance on the card?

No this is over multiple weeks with lots of different values in the cleared balance, always the negative of the statement ending balance.
