Tabs on Home view missing

Tabs in the Home view have disappeared again, and I can't figure out how to turn them back on.

Closed by user. I found a control hiding in the interface that fixed the display.

Near the top-right corner of the window, to the right of the search box, there's a pulldown control (looks like a v) that hides a show/hide option for the tabs. Hope that helps.

If this icon is V instead or ^ that is the problem, click on it to toggle it (in upper right of the main window):
